EXT. FOREST - EVENING A GROUP OF TEENAGERS (5) are on a camping trip in a supposedly haunted area of the forest suddenly find themselves lost. They are all relatively close together as they walk, surrounded by the one holding a lantern. GREG Does anyone know the way back to the camp? The camera cuts to the one holding the lantern. RORY I don’t know, but it’s getting dark. The group contemplates on which direction to go, being suddenly interrupted by a twig snapping. Rory spins to look at the source of the rustling. I was given the task of storing and editing the final product. The project started out as around 30 video clips. I had to siphon through these and place them in order. The raw footage was around 2:40, which would need to be cut down. This entire editing process was overlooked by my partner, as all the editing was livestreamed. Most of our filming was done during the day, with some at early dusk. When it comes to scenes that are set at night, I lowered the brightness for them and changed contrast...

These aspects include the camera angles and lighting used in these films. Some other things mentioned are the Mis-En-Scene and plot structure of drama films. For example, low-key lighting is often used to enhance the moodiness of a scene, to convey darker emotions. The lighting works alongside the camera movements and sound choices to make scenes look realistic, and maintain its serious nature. [ ] Especially the diegetic sounds, ...
